College Intern - Dalton Kaye

Dalton Kaye is driven by a desire to serve God while envisioning the future of the church - youth and young adults! During the summer of 2019, he interned at Island Heights UMC through the Next Gen Ministry program, learning to prepare and lead a church service as well as initiating the church's youth mission program. During 2020, he once again pursued an internship within the church and was selected to participate in a year long “Cultivate: College Experience” program. During the fall and spring semesters he plans to work alongside Pastor Blair Goold to establish a viable campus ministry at Ocean County College. He will also work towards continuing the church’s mission to turn outward in an effort to engage younger generations and guide them along their spiritual journey.

Outside of church Dalton is greatly involved in his community through Boy Scouts, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2018 and continues to volunteer as an Assistant Scoutmaster. He is also an avid landscaper. Currently Dalton attends Ocean County College where he is working toward his degree in Business Administration. In his free time, Dalton enjoys cooking, hiking, biking, playing piano and volunteering within his community.
